Very cool photo. What's that in the other lane? Looks like a <gulp> Pinto?
I like the VW bus in the parking lot too.

I think the best was in the sixteen second bracket around 72 MPH. Not very fast but, hey it was still lots of fun.

Left lane is still the best lane to be on at this strip! Little did you know 46 years later ,I, your son made a pass at 10.54 at 138.6 in the same lane.!! Gulfport Dragway, Good times!
