Just be aware that the size and curve of the last few years that Pilkington manufactured Opel GT windshields caused substantial fitment problems. I bought two of those from Richard Tankel of ProSource Glass in 2010 and they, like all the previous few years of production, required that the top corner edges be ground down almost 1/4” to fit properly.

The last batch was perfect. Unfortunately, then they shut down the classic glass company.

 

Do you have any documentation about when the windshield was made, not just when it was sold?

There's an imprint with a number code on the windshield at one of the lower two corners, see if you can take a picture of that.
